2 cups of cannellini beans (cooked)
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 small bunch of fresh sage leaves
1 cup of tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the oil in a large pan, over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sage leaves, and sauteĢ until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce: Pour in the tomato sauce and stir. Let it cook for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Add the beans: Stir in the cooked cannellini beans and mix well, making sure they are fully coated with the sauce.
Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and simmer the beans in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Once the sauce has thickened and the beans are infused with flavor, remove from heat and serve hot.
